If you are fortunate to visit Hafod Elwy Hall in any season, you will not fail to be captivated by its situation, lying as it does in the very heart of the Denbigh Moors (Mynydd Hiraethog) in North Wales, amidst hills and lakes, with the spectacular backdrop of the Snowdonia range of mountains. This is an opportunity for the discerning visitor to North Wales to stay in peaceful and comfortable surroundings and indulge oneself with good wholesome food from a guaranteed source. We are pleased to provide dinner to our guests in addition to breakfast.
For those who visit Hafod Elwy aiming to do a little more than simply relax, we can recommend local walks; bird watching or perhaps fishing for wild brown trout in the nearby Llyn Alwen for which we enjoy private fishing rights. Guided sea fishing is available by arrangement.
The Hall offers well-appointed bedrooms, of individual design and character, each with its own unique private bathroom and double, twin or 4 poster beds.
Our Guests have a choice of rooms to sit and relax:-
The comfortable and spacious Drawing Room with its commanding views of the Snowdonia Mountains.
The Gun Room is cosy and intimate with a roaring log fire.
Afternoons and summer evenings are best kept for the Sun Room to appreciate the panoramic views and the beautiful sunsets.
Meals are served in the impressive dining room.
