Make sure you visit North Wales’ best beaches this summer!

For those wondering where to venture to make the most of the coast line, North Wales is a highly recommended destination. There are a number of famous, popular and variety of beaches located in North Wales, each of which offer the perfect environment for a families, friends, individuals and couples to enjoy some quality time under the sun.

The towns of North Wales that have built up reputations of having wonderful beaches and seaside town atmospheres are places like Anglesey, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Abersoch, Rhyl, Llandudno, Barmouth – among many others.

The different types of beaches that are located in North Wales mean that whether you want to simply enjoy the sun with a picnic, or want to get involved in surfing, water sports and sand sports, there is a beach perfect for your aims and objectives.

The Daily Post recently ran a poll to North Wales, asking which their favourite beaches in North Wales were. The results were as follows:

4. Benllech (Anglesey)
5. Trearddur Bay (Anglesey)
6. Llanddona (Anglesey)
7. Llandudno North Shore (Conwy)
8. Criccieth (Gwynedd)
9. Dinas Dinlle (Gwynedd)
10. Porth Dafarch (Anglesey)

Although this list presents an undoubtedly brilliant set of beaches located across North Wales, the list does not stop there. There are a huge number of beaches that could have easily made it into this list, which are not to be missed out should you get over to North Wales. Many beaches have been left with their natural surroundings to keep them elegant as a part of nature, which fascinate some, while other beaches have had investment to the beach, as well as the surrounding areas which make them appealing for those with families after a UK holiday with many amenities, facilities and other attractions.

The majority of beaches within North Wales are considered as ‘excellent’ in the Good Beach Guide, with the remainder reaching a very high standard. This means that you will likely be enjoying a fantastic Blue Flag status beach.
