Greenwood Forest Park

Greenwood Forest Park is a fantastic day out for all the family, voted best family day out in North Wales, this should be at the top of your ‘to go’ list.
There’s a multitude of Live shows, such as Ricardo the pirate or Howard the Magician. Arty and Crafty people are welcome indeed, with a wood turner and pyro artist present, theres all kinds of craftsman who visit Greenwood!

Greenwood Forest Park has a unique roller coaster; the world’s only people powered coaster! This coaster holds 20 people, with 5 cars that go along a 250 metre track, looping round a hill and going through the woods. This is a ride to enjoy, not only will you be having the time of your life but also be safe in the knowledge that you are being totally environmentally friendly.

There’s also the Great Green Run, an adrenaline pumped Sledge Run, the longest in North Wales! You just sit down on the sledge, keep your feet tucked in and listen carefully to the instructions. There’s also a much smaller version for tiny toddlers.
There’s so much to explore and get involved in, such as Den Building, the Crocodile Maze, Jungle Boats, Long Bow Archery – All of these are sure to settle themselves as a longstanding childhood memory to be thought back on in years to come! A fantastic family day out.

Animal lovers wanted! There’s a rabbit village where you can come and make a fuss of rabbits and guinea pigs! You can even feed them at 2:30 every day! There’s also a stunning Peacock and a couple of Peahens!

If you don’t live in the area, why should that stop you? Even more excuse to get down here and make a trip out of it! There are a range of campsites, lodges, holiday homes and caravan sites to choose from so you can truly make the most of a journey to wales! Greenwood Park has a viewpoint which on a clear day you can see the highest point in England and Wales – Snowdon! So why not make the journey up Yr Wyddfa while you are down?
