How does fire walking in North Wales take your fancy?

hot coalDo you often wake up and think, “I am going to do something a little bit dangerous today”? Ever have the desire to walk on hot coals? If you do, Llandudno is the place to be for you for some fire walking towards the end of the year.

Blind Veterans UK are currently looking for brave (and some would say crazy) people to take part in their Fire Walk Challenge this November and are eager to bring in as many people as possible to the event in Llandudno.

Blind Veterans UK are an organisation based in Llandudno that does what it can to help those in need with sight difficulties. As well as this upcoming event, they are also well-known for bringing many other great charity occasions to the North Wales coast and represent a great cause – be sure to check out their website for information on all of the great work they do.

Although they say that the event is suitable for those over 8 years old, don’t let that make you think that it’s a walk in the park when actually it’s a walk over hot coals! If you’ve ever seen someone do it on telly and wanted to give it a go, there couldn’t be a better time to try your hand (or feet) at it..

Finding people interested in walking over 15ft of hot coals might be a bit of an ask so the team have left plenty of time from now until November 8th for you to get sponsors to pledge. All entrants are required to pay a £25 registration fee and that they raise at least £50 in donations before taking part. Throughout the rest of the month, if you and a friend sign up then you can receive a special 2 for 1 registration price.
