A week of guided walks throughout the beautiful Conwy County that will take place from the 2nd July until the 9th. Well renowned as a fantastic week of seeing some of North Wales’ most glorious natural areas, those that attend will truly enjoy an enriching and rewarding walk with highly knowledgeable and experienced leaders and like-minded walkers.

This year there is an exciting programme of events that include the annual ‘classics’, as well as a number of exciting new events that ensure you get a fulfilling experience of Wales’ finest countryside areas. From short and relaxing strolls, to a really hard hike, there is something in the weeks schedule for absolutely everyone. New for this year there are a number of new linear walks that will use public transport, for example; one walk will include catching the bus and walking from Llanfairtalhaiairn to Abergele; Cwm Idwal to Capel Curig via the Glyders; Old Colwyn to Llandulas and the Crimea Pass to Dolwyddelan.

There are to be an array of themed walks that may incorporate themes such as history in the beautiful towns of Llangernyw, Llansannan, Colwyn Bay and the Bronze Age uplands of Penmaenmawr to glow worms on the Great Orme. There are opportunities to use some of the beautiful and quaint accommodation and local amenities while touring certain places meaning you are able to enjoy real local produce, services and care. From early morning walks, days out and night walks, there is something not only for all walking ability, but for all schedules!

As many of the walks during the Conwy Walking Week are known to be incredibly popular, it is highly recommended that you book in advance to avoid missing out. Each leader is taking individual bookings as per the corresponding walk, so see the Conwy Walking Week programme located on their website – where detailed information on each walk can also be found!

The programme also includes details of two guided bike rides that gives you the opportunity to view areas of the Conwy County from another perspective – and details are included in the programme.
