Deganwy is located between Conwy and Llandudno. With wonderful views over the sea and across to Anglesey. Ideal place for those who enjoys water sports, sailing and yachting.
Deganwy has some of the finest views of Snowdonia and Conwy Castle. A few stones on the summit of 'The Vardre' are all that remains of the once famed Deganwy Castle, bitterly fought over by the English and the Welsh. There has been a castle on the site since the seventh century.
There is a sandy beach and a number of small shops (with an abundance of antique shops but also boutiques selling clothng nd the like, clustering under a Victorian style canopy. There are also a couple of notable restaurants. Especially worth visiting if you enjoy being on the water, boating and yachting.
