Anglesey is the perfect destination for a short break, whether is a family holiday or just a romantic getaway, it has attractions and spots to suit all. The Isle of Anglesey is off the coast of North Wales, but is easily reached via the Menai Bridge and accessible for all – so that shouldn’t put you off. Anglesey is also home to a wide range of activities days and entertainment centres/playgrounds, where adults can sit back and relax whilst their little ones blow off some steam! Another activity is to go and see an incredible piece of history, in the form of Beaumaris castle – an amazing wonder from the past dating all the way back to the 13th century. Plas Newydd is another sight to see in the form of a beautiful house surrounded by breath-taking scenery, along with incredibly kept gardens, lovely tearooms, a military museum and a vast collection Rex Whistler’s works.
