The Coach House and The Old Stables Holiday Cottages

The Coach House

This pretty victorian building has been skilfully converted to provide comfortable holiday accommodation at any time of year. To the front, there is ample parking space for 2 cars. At the back of the cottage is an enclosed lawned garden with plenty of room for eating out or just relaxing.

On entering the cottage, the vestibule leads to a hallway with staircase to the bedrooms, with french doors to the garden off a half landing.

Off the 'L' shaped hallway is to one side the bathroom with W.C., bath, washbasin and shower. To the other side is a fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge and microwave.

At the opposite end of the kitchen, a further flight of four steps leads up to the pine beamed living room with open fireplace for which logs and coal are provided.

The room includes a separate dining area and colour T.V. set with DVD player.

Upstairs, an open landing gives access to the two cottage style dormer bedrooms, each with one double and one single bed.

The 'Coach House' is equipped to accommodate a maximum of six persons. It has an 'economy seven' electric heating system with radiators in all rooms. It's tranquil setting guarantees a relaxing atmosphere in which to base your holiday.

The Old Stables

Sympathetically restored to preserve it's period features, the 'old stables' is a detached cottage of mellow stone, offering the comfort of modern accommodation standards all year round whilst retaining old world character.

Outside, there is ample parking for two cars plus boat or touring caravan. The lawned rear garden has plenty of room for sitting out, barbeques or just relaxing.

Off the front entrance hall is the bathroom, with W.C., bath, wash-hand basin and shower.

The spacious living room has to one side the dining area, to the other below the minstrel gallery is a fine open stone fireplace with logs and coal provided. An alcove beside the fireplace houses the colour T.V and DVD player.

Off the end of the living room is a fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. At the opposite end, a corridor leads to the two bedrooms, the smaller with double bed, the larger with double and single beds. Extra sleeping space can be gained by conversion of the single bed settee provided in addition to the three piece suite in the living room.

The 'Old Stable' accommodates a maximum of six persons. Absence of stairs (except two steps down to the bathroom) renders the cottage ideal for the elderly or infirm. It has 'economy seven' electric heating with raditors in all rooms.

The cottage's rural position guarantees quietness and a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy your holiday.
