Rhos Country Cottages are a small collection of four very select, 5 star, individual country properties (not a complex of barn conversions). They are surrounded by open countryside in a peaceful, tranquil setting and enjoy grand views of Snowdon and the Snowdonia National Park. They are situated 4 miles north of the small picturesque seaside town of Criccieth which has a choice of excellent restaurants, small shops, golf course and castle. Criccieth known as "The Pearl of Wales on the Shores of Snowdonia" has won many times the prestigious award - "WALES IN BLOOM" competition.
Rhos Country Cottages are positioned in a superb location.... 12 miles Caernarfon town with its majestic castle, 14 miles Beddgelert with the legend of Gelert's Grave, 15 miles Llanberis and the Snowdon Mountain Railway, 12 miles Portmeirion Village, 18 miles - Abersoch or Harlech; 9 miles Black Rock Sands & Porthmadog with Ffestiniog Railway Station and Welsh Highland Railway, and within a 6 mile drive there is a Go-karting centre, Ten Pin Bowling; 2 miles from a Rabbit Farm (for children), pony trekking and the village of Llanystumdwy, the boyhood village of David Lloyd George with a Museum and film on one of the greatest british statesmen of the twentieth century and the Victorian Cottage where he was raised.
Walk from your cottage door onto the Lleyn Coastal Path or join onto one of the areas cycle routes or cycle along the scenic, traffic-free Lôn Eifion cycle track to the Royal Town of Caernarfon. Each cottage has safe storage for bikes……..and much more.
