The Annexe comprises of a very spacious dining room/kitchen, with a unique sunken living room area.

The kitchen contains an electric cooker with four hobs, a free-standing fridge/freezer, a washing machine, microwave and toaster.

The dining area has a rectangular pine table complete with four matching chairs.

The comfortable lounge has a 27in LCD TV with built in Freeview and a DVD player. The L shaped sofa in front of the imposing fireplace which houses an Optiflame coal effect electric fire creates a very cosy atmosphere. There are a variety of books and games available on the book shelf.

Bedroom

The spacious bedroom has a double bed, chests of drawers and a large wardrobe.

Bathroom

The bathroom contains a bath with shower overhead, a toilet, hand wash basin and shaver plugs.

Entertainment

The lounge has a 27in LCD TV with built in Freeview and a DVD player. There is also a variety of books and games available on the book shelf in the lounge.

Outside

The outside patio area is a great place to retreat for those warm and sunny summer afternoons. The patio area has a glass top rattan coffee table and matching chairs. There is ample parking for one car outside the property.

The surrounding area

On Anglesey, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re planning a family day out with the kids or a relaxing afternoon on one of our lovely sandy beaches, we hope you like some of the suggestions below:

West coast and beaches

To the north are the famous holiday resort of Trearddur Bay. The main award winning blue flag beach at Trearddur Bay has plenty of sand! Popular with water sports enthusiasts, ideal for canoeing, water skiing, surfboarding, divers, jet-skiers and fishermen, this rocky coastline is a magnet for them all. This beach has a protected bathing area marked by buoys. Along Ravenspoint Road will take you to several small sandy coves, the largest of which is Porth Diana, protected by a rocky inlet at its entrance, this is a popular place to moor small craft. Borth Wen Beach at Rhoscolyn is a secluded and pretty sandy beach, accessed by a narrow winding lane.
The impressive cliffs of South Stack where the 19th century lighthouse is open to visitors. RSPB have a visitor centre here from where you can observe the antics of the seabirds nesting in their ‘vertical city’. The Breakwater Country Park at Holyhead offers walks along the coastal cliffs.

Rhosneigr is a famous water sport resort with a mouth-watering array of cafes and bistros but there are some more attractive beaches, heading south along the A4080 coast road. Newborough Forest leads to Llanddwyn Island through a wonderful avenue of Corsican pines and fine golden sand to a mystical island steeped in ancient folklore.

Maltraeth has a fine estuary famous for its waterfowl and is a great area if you like walking and exploring.

Aberffraw is a large sandy bay, backed by grassy headlands and extensive sand dunes with fantastic views of Snowdonia. This beautiful beach is great for sunbathing and swimming and is well worth a visit, pack a picnic though, as there are no facilities nearby.
Newborough Forest (off the A4080) through a wonderful avenue of Corsican pines leads to the expansive Blue Flag Award Newborough beach with glorious soft sandy beach, sheltered sand dunes and spectacular views of the Snowdonia mountains. The mystical Llanddwyn Island, steeped in ancient folklore is a magical place definitely worth the walk.

North coast beaches

At the northern end of the A5025, Amlwch is a historic fishing village associated with the ‘Copper Kingdom’ of Parys Mountain whereas Cemaes Bay is an attractive beach resort, close to Cemlyn nature reserve and Church Bay (Porth Swtan) with its tall cliffs and the oldest fully restored cottage on Anglesey. The National Trust heritage coastline boasts mile after mile of uninterrupted walks along the coastal path. Also at Church Bay is the locally renowned ‘Lobster Pot’ restaurant and ‘Wavecrest’ coffee shop at the end of the coastal path with its speciality cream teas as well as many other homemade delicacies. This area is excellent for all water sports, cycling on the local and national networks, fishing at Llyn Alaw, walking the Anglesey Coastal Path or just quiet reflection.

East coast beaches

Benllech is a popular sea side destination. The Anglesey Coastal Path and the Wales Coat Path pass through Benllech. Lovely sandy beach ideal for building sandcastles and the rock pools are great for catching crabs! Beach rangers patrol the beach in the summer months and provide organised games for the kids. The beach is family friendly with toilets and refreshments nearby. In the summer holidays it’s a very busy beach but the beach is wide enough to find a quiet spot if you so wish. Sections of the beach are ‘No dogs’ but there are plenty of areas where dogs are allowed.
