Deganwy has some of the finest views of Snowdonia and Conwy Castle. A few stones on the summit of the Vardre are all that remains of the once famed Deganwy Castle, bitterly fought over by the English and the Welsh. There is a sandy beach and a number of small shops clustering under a Victorian style canopy. Especially worth visiting if you enjoy being on the water, boating and yachting.
